Bob Bendorf scaled down the Geli Martinair DC-3 from the original 1:33 scale (with its 34.5 inch wingspan) to a more manageable 1:120. Bob says that he "worked with Red River Metallic Silver and coated flat white paper that was spliced for most colored sections of this classic Douglas Bird. The effect is realistic using the two types of paper to create the final product." We have to agree with Bob's assessment, and add that he shows what one can do with a scanner and a little creativity. Nice job!
