Models We Would Like To See!
Drawings and photos as Noted

Foreward: The Triplane, a transient phenomenon which briefly came to prominence in WWI. A freak by todays standards, was one of the most important of aircraft forms (the fastest airplane of WWI was a triplane, the Curtiss 18-T). It is an interesting fact that of around 130 triplane types built, about 90 were made during the First World War. This month I thought I would do things a little different and show 12 3-views. Should someone be interested in any of these or have one not shown that they would like info (photos and maybe a 3-view), e-mail me at the address below and I can share what I have.

Austin AFT3 Osprey

Curtiss 18-T

DFW T34-II

Fokker V6

LFG Roland DIV (Dr1)

Lohner Type A

Nieuport Triplane

OEFFAG Type CF

Plafz Dr1

In Conclusion: Designers should you like more info on these three winged aircraft (i.e. photos, drawings or other data), contact me at borgr2003@yahoo.com. Others, submit your wish list, the designers do not know what you would like to see unless you tell them.
