I love out of the ordinary craft, and this little gem certainly qualifies! An experimental glider built in Poland in the early fifties, it has as much grace as an airplane designer could create. This is one model on a CD of Civil Aircraft designed by Marek Pacynski, and available from DeWayne Barnett

I found the model to be more difficult than I thought it would be, mostly because of the careful shaping of the fuselage by the designer. To successfully create a fuselage with this much compound curvature at this small scale is a good trick, but Marek pulled it off! The six piece internal framework makes sure that it comes out right.

I encountered a bit of a fit problem with the structure of the wings where they break from swept forward to swept back, but hey, it's paper! With a bit of persuasion everything came out fine.

A very pleasing little model. I'm looking forward to more from this CD.
