1/50 scale model of the Japanese Ki 61 "Hein" fighter by Marek Pacynski. Model went together very well as all Marek's models do. This would be a very good model to learn the techniques that Marek and most other Polish designers use. A lot of us who started with the Wilhelmshavener models which used connecting strips to glue the fuselage sections together were not used to the "butt and glue method" used by these designers.
This model being pretty standard for this type of model will give you an idea of what is involved in these models before doing some of the more complex models. These is one of a large and growing group of 1/50 scale models from this company.
