1/50 scale model of the German He 162 jet fighter by Marek Pacynski. Model went together very well as all Marek's models do. This model is a little more complicated than the average model that Marek designs. The shape of the fuselage and the engine on top of the fuselage takes care and patience in order to get correct. The time and effort to build this model is well worth it as it is the only 1/50th scale model of the aircraft that I know of.
Notice the detail on the engine in the pictures below, very well done. The model does not come with a cockpit or clear canopy. If you want to have one you will have to scratch build both. I usually do not as the parts are so small at this scale, I just can not cut them correctly.
